Sorry for the long delay, not been on here for a while.
Think it was mine.

In fact you commented on it, I remembered the big V Twin. I still have the Buell and SV650Ss. The reason I've not been on here is partly due to having a few weeks in Aus riding my CT110 and my son's SFV650 in their summer.

The rack now has awning C rail both sides and at the rear and it all works well. I leave my topbox on all year round as it's a pain to remove and refit.

Hopefully the pics will all work but Postimages seems to be playing up sporadically and giving 503 Image not found at random but not every time.

If you want any more info or pics send me a PM.

still think that is a brilliant idea.. I have a SWB transit with a Rhino roof rack thinking of doing slats on that too

Now starting it's 4th season of use.
Having the C rail on 3 sides means I can choose which awning to take, I have 3 plus a canopy.
Weight considerations mean I usually keep the flat canopy and Outhouse Handi XL in the roofbox all summer. Provided they are dry they are just stuffed into the box, saves ages of folding and stuffing into their bags.

I was looking at doing something similar.....
but I have a Roof tent..... so luxury penthouse camping...
like the side driveaway awning... great if you want to leave stuff and keep a pitch onsite...
I was going to get one that could have two different attachment systems, and perhaps zip together, one like teh std, but another so it can work with the roof tent...
and I have a little Pug Speedfight Scooter and a rear scooter rack....

where did you get the green screens?

The front is a Fuel Lagoon cover from their website not eBay, VW T4 version fits an M49/M59. They now do specific covers for B9 and K9.
The rear is something I cobbled up from a piece of tarp and adhesive Velcro on the cover and inside the tailgate jamb. Needs work as last time used I tore it, the C90 was on the rack so couldn't open the tailgate.
Latest bike is slightly too heavy for the rack and 10/12" wheels so would need new hoops for the rack.

Way off topic - this is my bike in Oz, bought in 2017, spent 5 weeks over Christmas riding in the sun. My son has a 4wd camper, sadly no way of fixing a rack on it, I spent a few hours rolling around under it trying to find a way.

Well.....
In a previous life I trained to make patterns for clothes and retrimmed boats and cars for friends....
So if I had a plan of silver screens I could probably source the material and make them for a reasonable cost....

I do have a CBR 600 somewhere.....

I have a collection of early Ducati cucciolos inc a Ducati 60 with 1594km from new... the first full bike built by ducati..
I am doing my best to sell up as I intend to move to S Framce at some point, all people I have been in contact with will be more than welcome to park up and light a barbie...
