It being Friday, shabbat shalom and welcome to the forum Samuel. We're getting to be quite an international forum now. Nice looking Berli. What issues do you have with it. This forum is chock full of useful information. About 10 years ago I did some consulting work at Hebrew University. Really enjoyed my time in that area.

Hi Tom
Thanks for your replay Shabat Shalom (-:
Yes it is a wonderful place to live...
As for the car issues...
Issue no 1: Air Bag light on dash board is constantly ON.
When I bought the car it was dark and as summer arrived and temperature went up it started to illuminate.
Issue no 2: Water in diesel light turns ON.
I had the car serviced (Oil & Filters) couple weeks ago, about 2 weeks after it started to illuminate intermediately together with an annoying beeping sound.
Took it to my mechanic who opened the diesel filter and drained what was in the bottom.
That didn't really help.
Strangely the water in diesel light do not Illuminate in the mornings when everything is still chill, it does that on mid day or afternoon when the car is hot after standing at the sun.
Issue 3: noises from steering box
Sounded like Gris or other lubrication are missing some where
Thx
Samuel

I remember various mentions about your first two issues on this forum. Did you have any luck with the hits you got from searching the forum?

Hi 3rensho
I noticed some threads on the airbag issue but almost none on the water in diesel alarm.
From reading on the WEB I get the impression that this is a diesel motor issue (first diesel powered vehicle I own) and that should be checked regularly.
I drained the liquid from the diesel filter yesterday it didn’t help, I still get intermitting beeps and lights saying “water in diesel”.
Only time that it does not happens it’s in the morning when it’s cold outside.
Car drives perfectly and I see no other indication of a problem beside the light.
Could that be a faulty sensor?.
As for the air bag issue I will try to clean the brown plug beneath the front seat and do a reset hopefully it will help.
Thx
Samuel
